TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
